Thank you for taking the time to visit this site. Whether you are preparing ahead or dealing with a current crisis, I hope the information you find here will be helpful for your family.

First, I commend you. You are the most significant influence in your child's life-we are simply a resource tool and a cheerleader for you. Our goal is to provide you with current information and the ability to view these issues from possibly a new set of "lenses"-a way to see these issues differently than you might have in the past.

Adolescence can be a very trying time, but parents and trusted adults are the most important ingredient, as well as lots of love and attention. You may think your child isn't listening, but don't give up-he or she is! Their body language and even their words might say they don't need you, but they are begging for your love and guidance. Keep talking and LISTENING!!

Ultimately as parents we must remember that our children must make their own choices…some of which might hurt. The information on this website is provided so that you might have more resources to share with your child before he or she makes a choice that might scar them for life…it's never too late.

Lovingly give them the information, then step back and believe in them - and don't forget to let them know you believe in them.
